AfrolandX Rides policies

This page explains the operating policies for AfrolandX Rides in Nigeria: passenger and driver conduct, rides, payments, safety, reports, lost property and complaints.

Policy notice. These pages describe the app's current operating behavior and user expectations. Company registration details, service-area rollout, legal notices and any future fare changes must be confirmed by AfrolandX Rides before publication as final legal terms.

Current operating policy

Passenger policy

Passengers must provide accurate account, pickup and destination details, use the app for ride requests, check the driver and vehicle details before entering, treat driver partners respectfully, and follow Nigerian law and road-safety requirements.

Account misuse, harassment, unsafe conduct or false information may lead to review, suspension or closure.

Current operating policy

Driver / partner policy

Driver partners must complete the in-app application, submit personal details, a valid licence and licence document, vehicle information and vehicle registration, and complete administration review before going online.

Drivers must keep their information and documents accurate, operate lawfully and safely, and treat passengers without discrimination.

Current operating policy

Cancellation policy

Passengers and drivers can cancel an uncompleted ride through the app. A cancelled ride is recorded with who cancelled it. Do not rely on a cancelled ride for emergency transport.

For a verified Paystack payment, the backend may request a refund after cancellation; provider processing time and eligibility apply.

Current operating policy

Safety policy

For immediate danger in Nigeria, call 112 first. During an active ride, passengers can send an in-app SOS alert to administration; ride chat is available for participant communication, and completed rides can be reported.

The app's SOS and support tools do not replace emergency services.

Current operating policy

Lost property policy

Report a lost item through support as soon as possible with the ride reference, date, route and item description. AfrolandX Rides may help connect the passenger and driver, but recovery is not guaranteed.

Do not publish or request a driver's personal contact details.

Current operating policy

Community standards

Passengers, drivers and AfrolandX Rides staff are expected to communicate respectfully and without discrimination. Harassment, threats, abuse and unsafe behavior are not acceptable in the app, during a ride or in support interactions.

Concerns can be reported through the completed-ride report flow or by email.

Current operating policy

Prohibited conduct

Prohibited conduct includes impersonation, account sharing or misuse, harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, illegal activity, dangerous driving, damage to property, fraud and attempts to interfere with the app or its records.

AfrolandX Rides may restrict, suspend or terminate access after review.

Current operating policy

Accessibility policy

Passengers who need assistance should tell the driver or support team as early as possible. Vehicle categories and accessibility options depend on the available driver network in the passenger's Nigerian service area.

The app does not currently promise a dedicated accessible-vehicle category.

Current operating policy

Complaints & dispute process

For a completed ride, use the in-app report flow with a subject and details. Include the ride reference, dates, payment reference or screenshots where relevant. Support can review ride, safety, driver, vehicle and payment complaints.
