Safety is a shared responsibility between passengers, drivers and the platform. Here is how we approach it.
- Confirm the vehicle — match the number plate and vehicle details shown in the app before opening the door.
- Confirm the driver — check the driver's name and photo against the app.
- Share your trip — let someone you trust know where you are going and when you expect to arrive, where the app supports it.
- Choose a safe pickup point — wait somewhere well lit and visible, away from moving traffic.
- Use the support channel — report anything that felt wrong, during or after the trip.

If you have a roadworthy vehicle and the required local licence and registration documents, you can apply in the app, complete administration review, go online when approved, accept dispatched requests and track completed trips and earnings.
The app records driver earnings; final eligibility, payout timing and operational requirements are handled during onboarding and administration review.

What is AfrolandX Rides?
AfrolandX Rides is the e-hailing service from AfrolandX. It connects passengers with local drivers through a mobile app for everyday trips. This website is an information site only — rides are requested in the app.
How do I request a ride?
Allow location access or set your pickup on the map, search for or select a destination, review the route and estimated fare in NGN, choose your available payment method, and request the ride.
Can I schedule a ride?
Yes. Choose a future date and time in the app. The scheduled ride appears in your scheduled-rides view, sends a confirmation and reminder, and is requested automatically when its time arrives.
How do I become a driver?
Start by contacting our driver support team through the contact page. You will be taken through registration and the required verification steps. Specific vehicle and document requirements are confirmed during onboarding.
What should I do if I leave something in a vehicle?
Report it as soon as you notice. Include your trip details and a description of the item, and contact support@afrolandx.com. Our team will attempt to connect you with the driver. AfrolandX Rides cannot guarantee that lost items will be recovered. See the Lost Property policy.
What do I do during an emergency?
If you are in immediate danger in Nigeria, call 112 first. During an active ride, the app also provides an SOS alert to the ride administration team; after you are safe, use the app report flow or contact support. Full guidance is on the Safety page.
How do I contact support?

Where can AfrolandX Rides be used?
Service areas are being rolled out progressively and are not published on this site yet. Please contact support to confirm whether AfrolandX Rides is available in your area.
How do fares and payments work?
The app estimates route distance and duration and shows the fare in Nigerian naira before you request. The app supports cash due for a cash ride and Paystack checkout/card authorization for electronic payment. A Paystack ride must be verified before the trip can proceed.
